My Voice Experience

I have always been using my voice in many different ways, and I'm always expanding my boundaries and range. For example, I have announced MMA fights at public events(I can mimic the Buffer Bros.), have been a rock singer in numerous bands, am a songwriter with instrument skills (guitar and keyboard)and have been in the recording studio many times. I did the mixdown on on our last CD and got many compliments on the sound. I feel I would be great for voice-over work and commercials, and overall, I have over 15 years of musical experience (Live and in the studio), and over 10 years of technical experience.

My Training

I have always said that hands-on experience far outweighs anything you can read in a book or learn in school. But,I do have technical knowledge as a certified electronics technician. I went to Catawba Valley Community College and earned my certificate. I have much experience from my days at the Music Center in Hickory, NC where I worked for 5 years on all of the electronics and soundgear, covering 6 statewide stores. I was Fender, Peavey, and Crate authorized for warranty repairs. I have ran live sound for numerous events, some of them very large, for my company, Loud and Proud Productions, and for other companies who contracted me to run the mixing board and hook up sound. So I have been on both sides of the fence as a musician/singer and soundman/repairman.
