My Voice Experience

My experience spans a life time, informaly as a voice over talent. I've "performed" at many levels, though the extent of my professional experience has thus far been in church plays and community stage shows.

As a participant/attendee of professional meetings, court appearances, political campaigns and some major "tight fixes", my emotion has allowed me to convey many different voice types, given the circumstance and venue I've been in.

My Training

I'm currently (and finally!!) completing my undergrad degree online. However, my years in corporate (10+) has granted me premiere trainings from and high deliverables to Wharton, Stern, Harvard, Columbia and University of Michigan graduate alum.

I have had the unique pleasure to train under Steve Harris in New York City and given great one-on-one guidance from Marc Cashman in Los Angeles. I've proactively through the years attended several workshops and have been given great feedback from the expert instructors and production team, not solely on my voice, but on my personality and ability to partner well with them. I think this speaks volumes to my work ethic and ability to get the job done in less time. A plus for clients...a great plus for an available voice talent as well!

My initial passion was to be a news anchor woman and thus began my college career in broadcast journalism where I took several voice related courses.

Growing up with a piano playing, soprano Mom has granted me long hours in choir rehearsal and piano lessons. I've done a "Dub Plate" for one of the best caribbean "Sounds" or DJ sets here in NYC, requiring a unique and competitive approach to every dance they play for.

When my youngest son was born prematurely, I recorded my voice and set a cassette player w/in his incubator. I received wide reviews and feedback on his progress, believed to be the link to my soothing voice and his desire, from the medical team.

Overall, I've had a great time and would love to transition my talents to a higher level and wider slate of professional opportunities.
