My Voice Experience

I've worked for customer service industry for years. It's bascially an acting position. Even if you feel like crap you still have to perform. . . and perform well. That's exactly what I have been doing. I would love to do Podcasts and Voice Over work for TV, radio or internet media, even for VM. I believe I would be perfect for that, based on my background in customer service.

My Training

I had two forms of formal voice training in my life. The first was my mother. Before I was born, both my parents met at Brown Institute (Now Brown College) in Minneapolis, MN. It's a school for broadcasting. My mother and father founded a community radio station that still exists today. I was born in the dead of winter following their graduation.

My mother taught me how to speak properly for interviews and everyday conversation. If you're surrounded by ghetto, you tend to talk the talk. I didn't. When I came of age, I too went to Brown Institute right before they changed their name and location. My second dose of education.

Years after that I've had jobs in Call Center Customer Service, Retail and other such career paths. I've longed for an opportunity to utilize my voice and have it work for me. This is the perfect opportunity.
