Voice Description
Captivating when teaching students, inviting when recording radio commercials, fun and relaxing when doing live remotes, serious and thoughtful when giving a business presentation, sexy when I want to flirt, fully of laughter when I'm happy and bantering, serious when talking with my children, compassionate when talking with friends. In summary, I try to think about the situation that I am in, how to I want the audience to react, how can I use my voice to emphasize the message being delivered.

My Voice Experience
I love recording commercials and giving presentations to live audiences. I have no formal training and very limited professional experience. All I ask is that you give me a chance to demonstrate what I can do for you! What I would like you to know is that when I was in high school my dream was to be a football commentator (like Frank Gifford). I worked at our local radio station doing news clips. My first "live interview" was with the Lieutenant Governor of Wisconsin (I was very nervous because I was only 16). When I went to college, my mother convinced me to go into business, which afforded me the opportunity to develop my presentation and selling skills. I've given numerous presentations to international audiences. When I moved to Durango CO, my job in marketing provided me with the opportunity to record radio commercials for my company. I've been told I have a "great radio voice" and when I asked the local DJ how to get started, he gave me the name of this website. I have no professional experience except for local radio commercials. The good news is that I'm a quick learner!
My Training
I have no formal training in voice overs. I've been recording commercials for my company for about 1 1/2 years and have received very positive feedback from listeners. When I introduce myself to someone, they recognize me from the radio commercials. I received formal training in sales and presentation skills while working at Citigroup for 18 years.

Additional Skills
As a business woman with an international company, I had many opportunities to deliver presentations to global audiences. In my current position as head of our Business Development and Public Relations department I have the opportunity to participate in "live remotes" as well as subject matter discussions that are broadcast both live and taped. I continue to record all of our commercials.
