My Voice Experience

My background was originally in Theatre. I received an acting degree and then proceeded to get work in non-related fields.

Many who meet me for the first time ask if I am in radio or what I use my voice for... I would like to start telling them I do voice overs!

I did do voice overs for a small publisher in in '80s but of course do not have samples of that work.

Additional Skills

Since my 'falling away' from my theater work, I have been seeing how many industries I can get acquainted with before retirement. I have been gainfully employed by the publishing, commercial construction, non-profit industries - and am currently hoping to start my own business this coming year.

I am skilled in most computer work - and trouble shooting software/hardware has become an unintended skill out of necessity.

For most of the positiions held in the past couple decades have required the development of copywriting skills for marketing print materials as well as web-based.

Most important lesson learned: How the message is communicated - how the words are phrased truly matters on how it is heard (or if it is heard) by the customer.
