Mischa Cheeseman

Lively, versitile, velvety and deep, friendly

Voice Description

I have been told that I have a very wide range to my voice, from deep and sultry to friendly and warm, and can change the range of my voice at will. I can be fun or sexy for commercials and for narrations or presentations I can be engaging and professional. I have my different original voices that would be ideal for video games and animation and pride myself on coming up with the right voice for the right project...whatever that may be.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I can do Scottish (various), Irish (various), British (various), Russian, German, Japanese, East Indian, Southern American (various), French, and Quebecois accents strongly. I'm known to impersonate Homer Simpson, Apu, Chief Wiggum, Ralph Wiggum, Patty and Selma, Mr. Burns, Smithers, and Barny off "The Simpsons". Off of "Family Guy" I can impersonate Quagmire, Brian, and Peter Griffin. I can also do various voices on South Park including Chef's mother and father, Cartman, and Mr. Mackey. I've been also known to impersonate George W. Bush, Dr. Phil, and Heath Ledger's Joker (I actually scare a lot of people with that one!).

My Voice Experience

I've always been into acting from the time I was in grade school. I remember however that when I was about eight, I started doing a pretty mean impersonation of TV's "ALF". From then on I loved imitating voices and just experimenting with my own to make my friends laugh and to better tell stories. It was only a few years ago that one of my best friends called me up and told me that I should go into voice overs. I didn't even know that was a job you could make a career out of! I was then living in Victoria, B.C. and started taking courses under Kathrine Billings at the Victoria Motion Picture school. I then moved to Toronto (for various reasons) and have recently attended The Kim Hurdon School of Voice (with whom I did my demo).
From all the feedback that I have received from my teachers and other people in the business, I feel extraordinarily confident that this will become my career.
