Chosen from among all graduates of the U.S. Armed Forces Broadcast Journalism School to serve as the narrator and Master of Ceremonies for the Army's Presidential Honor Guard (the "Old Guard" at Ft. Myer, VA). Narrated ceremonies for high-ranking U.S. politicians (including Vice-President George H. Bush), foreign dignitaries (such as Philippine President Corazon Aquino and the Crown Prince and Princess of Japan) and top military brass.
Worked one year at Soldiers' Radio and Television in Washington, DC, recording and editing audio productions for Armed Forces Radio and Television Services (AFRTS).
Served one year as narrator for the Coast Guard's Presidential Honor Guard, narrating for drill team performances and at JFK's gravesite in Arlingon National Cemetery.
My Training
Formally trained in voice and diction at the Defense Information School at Ft. Benjamin Harrison, IN. Graduated from the School's six-month Broadcast Journalism course.
