My Voice Experience

While working as a waitress at a swanky hotel bar in Beverly Hills, a fine man told me, "I love your voice! You should audition to be the bird in the movie!" "The bird? Movie?What?", I asked. "Well, I'm producing an animated action movie called ARK, and there's the character of a robot birdie in it. I think your voice could totally do the robot birdie," he says. "Really?!" REALLY! Long story short, I got to play the robot birdie named Jejune in ARK. By the way, you can watch it on Netflix if you're curious. So that's how my voice-over career started. Soon after that, I got to do the voices of TASTEBUDS in a short film promo for Coca-Cola which I believe is still playing at The Coca-Cola museum in Atlanta, Georgia. My favorite Tastebuds character voice is Sour. I ate about 15 lemon slices during the recording session to make it genuine. (I like to infuse a little method acting technique in my voice-over work ;) Not long after Tastebuds, I realized I'm good at this!!! So I trained from the best of the voice-over business, Nancy Wolfson, and produced a kick-ass voice-over demo! Check it out ;)!
