My Voice Experience

It all started when I learned to teach aerobics in 1997. I used my voice to motivate my participants. I wasn't the ever-annoying "woo" aerobics instructor...I would use different inflections to get participants to do what I needed them to do. Not only do I teach high energy step classes, I also teach mind/body classes like Yoga & Pilates. They require a softer, deeper tone - allowing participants to connect to their inner soul!
My voiceover talent was used in many radio ads for the fitness company I worked for. I frequently recorded "fitness tips" (30 second informational tips) that played daily in Richmond, VA.

My Training

I learned by doing! Once introduced to the radio world, I kept going back...eager to do more! My college degree is from Virginia Tech, although it is not in media. I have appeared on all of the Richmond, VA local television stations as a fitness expert multiple times. In high school I was a regular on stage in plays (including a British Comedy!).
