My Voice Experience

I was an air traffic controller in the U.S. Navy and attended
the FAA Academy in 1980. (Reagan Era)
Being an air traffic controller I learned to speak very clearly, very deliberately and with authority. One thing that was also
helpful was being able to talk in calm manner that reassured
pilots that I was there to help them in any situation they may
encounter.l
