My Voice Experience

I am a trained audio engineer, although I have never worked as a voice actor profesionally, I have done voice overs in an educational setting on numerous occasions. I started working on the engineers end of things, recording my voice out of a lack of any other voice talent and people told me I had a good voice for it. I have produced several mock radio commercials in my home studio to demonstrate my ability not only to do the voice overs, but also my ability to produce an entire radio spot all on my own.

My Training

When I was younger I wanted to be an actor and I did a lot of musicals with community youth theatre. In my first year of college I majored in theatre but I then switched to Music Technology where I had classes in both music and audio engineering. I then finished my education at the Recording Workshop in Chillicothe, OH. I am a certified audio engineer so even if my voice isn't right for your project I can still record, edit and mix it for you.

Additional Skills

I have a mobile home studio where I use Pro Tools LE and a Mac G4 Powerbook. I can work at home or in the studio, where ever the client needs me most. Ideally I would like to be able to receive a script via email and record, edit and mix the project at home. Working this way I could produce 5 or 6 radio spots per day all by myself, or I could begin a project at home and finish it in the studio. Of course, I dont mind doing all the work in the studio either, what ever works best for the client.
