ON-AIR EXPERIENCE on News/Talk 1150 WNDB CBS affiliate and MRN affiliate, Heritage Radio Station serving Daytona Beach. This involved preparing for a very detailed, structured, format that had to be adhered to nightly, with no variation.
Fully trained on the latest DIGITAL SYSTEMS. This includes the DCS (Digital Commercial System.) for on air. Experienced in reconfiguring the DCS to match station programming, the use of the DCS while on air by loading and firing off commercial sets both individually as well as commercial clusters, complete knowledge of how to make good missed commercials and how to bring up and categorize commercial sets.
Production- Fully trained on the Software Audio Workshop (SAW) for advanced production. Experience includes multi-track recording, editing, and mixing of commercials that were aired on WHOG 95.7/FM, WVYB 103.3/FM, WKRO 93.1/FM, and WNDB 1150/AM, trained in dubbing procedures on the DCS for single station and multi-station use.
Board Operation- Fully trained in all aspects of Board Operation including the Motor Racing Network, and the Performance Racing Network.
Trained fully in Proper on Air Presentation, Show Preparation, and the art of maintaining station listener ship, this includes the proper use of call letters coming and going out of music, Front Selling, Back Selling, and going into stop sets while retaining station listener ship.
