Voice Description
Naturally, a friendly, sincere delivery. Can do ostentatious, silly, certain character voices but only for short bits, some falsetto female voices (a dead-on Julia Child if you need that!), certain other impersonations if given an example again for short bits. Really fast, high speed, but intelligible reads are a specialty of mine. Also do regional US dialects including NYC, Northern NJ, Southern NJ, Philly, PA Dutch, variations on Southern US, Boston, other New England varieties, Wisconsin and other lake states, etc. Can do a fake Italian accent and a fair Irish brogue also for short bits.

My Voice Experience
Radio voice for over 35 years - on-air, studio work, production and management. On-air and voice work has included major markets such as Philadelphia, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Chicago, and San Diego.
Actual age: 53 - by appearance: 40-45 - by sound of voice: anywhere from 30-60.
Once had a piece of copy no one in the station could get down in :60. More like :70 or :75. It was agency copy with a lot of model numbers and couldn't be edited. They gave it to me. My first take was :48. I finally got it "slowed down" to :60 after a few takes.
Have also done extensive voice talent work for a local interactive telemarketing service for clients including the Wall Street Journal and CBS, and the Winston Cup (before it became the Nextel Cup!).
My Training
Primarily self-taught, actually, starting as a teenager. The high speed thing even started then. I could spit out 260 words in a minute if working from a script when I was 16. Can probably top that now but haven't checked!
