Voice Description

Variety and range is a great strength of mine. Whether you are looking for someone with a natural speaking voice or a radio personality type, I can do it. If you're looking for accents or dialects in any gender, I'm your guy! I believe that I do best when working with character voices and can really put my acting ability into the job. I think I would be a great cartoon voiceover artist if given the opportunity. However, my natural voice is very real and can add that "guy next door" feel to your project.

After all the workshops, seminars, and classes that I have conducted, I am also a great fit for any presentation format.

United Kindom (Britain, Ireland, Scotland) various regional dialects, Australian, Hispanic (many varieties-Mexican, Puerto Rican, etc.), Italian, Various Slavic accents, American (any regional dialect-southern, northern, mid-western, cajun, Wisconsin/Michigan, Texan, etc.) I can do any of these in male or female voice.

My Voice Experience

My most recent voiceover work has been for a program in higher education, recording training modules for new students. Prior to that, I have focused more on stage acting and working on one movie set. I am really hoping to branch out and do a great deal more voiceover work, since I and many people close to me and in the field think that it is where my talent truly lies.

My Training

My educational background and most of my professional experience has been in the field of education-working as an English and social studies teacher, a college instructor, college counselor, advisor, supervisor, and administrator.

My work in theatre and voiceover has come along as a sideline profession that I hope to make my one true career, since I feel it is my one true calling. In addition to classes at Actors Theatre of Louisville, I have also trained with an accomplished voiceover artist with over 30 years of professional experience. Her instruction, both in the classroom and in consultation afterward, has been invaluable!

My Studio Equipment

I make every attempt to learn more and more about the production side of the voiceover industry and have a colleague here in Louisville, who is an accomplished musician and audio technician. He is an excellent source when recording and ensuring my final product is flawless. He does this work on the side as well, so in his absence, I would prefer to work through a local studio here in town.
