Voice Description

Being really sick of hearing the same types of boring, monotone voice actors who just go into the studio, reluctantly read off some lines, collect their cash and leave, I've always strived to be a little more energetic and "out there". My pitch range is very flexible, going from the deepest growl to the highest whine. Additionally, the characters I try and represent always have "life" in them and sound believable, even if somewhat outlandish. I'm also very capable of taking direction, so if there's a very specific way you'd want me to sound, chances are I'd be able to hit the nail on the head within a couple of attempts.

My Voice Experience

Since I am still a relative novice, I haven't landed any paying gigs yet, but as corny as it may sound I often do recordings for friends and those who post auditions over the net for various characters in their projects. My signing up here is an attempt at changing that.

My Training

While I've never been trained in the specific art of voice acting, I have always been involved in the performing arts; I have been involved in a select chorus since I was in the first grade and regularly participate in optional low-key drama performances. As far as voice acting goes I've been studying the way VAs do their job for years and have bought numerous books to help me replicate that; since I was a little kid I had always wanted to become a professional voice actor, and as such, I've been fueled by that dedication ever since.
