Voice Description
I am familiar with many different types of read. I can also inject a somber tone to a religious text or put warmth and humor into a children's story. I can vary the pitch to include different players in a single story or go over the top and belt out a crazy character.
What sets me apart from other VO talent?
I do more than read the page. I consider the project. I ask myself these three questions:
Who am i?
Am I the expert in this area? Am I the consumer making a decision on where to spend my money? Am I the fool showing the listener what not to do?
Who am I talking to?
I consider where your Voice Over is going to be used and I can adapt accordingly. I might be addressing a large group in a convention center. Or maybe I'm having a one on one chat with a business manager. Or I may be discussing options with a family at home. All of these require a different vocal delivery.
What am I saying?
I discern the main idea of your project. What's the big message? I take the time to read and understand your copy. When I truly understand the message of the script, I can act it to the listener instead of just speaking copy aloud. I understand that the listener won't care about what I'm saying unless they can tell that I'm interested as well.
One other thing you should know about me is that I know what my clients want from me when I'm in front of the mic because I've been the guy on the other side. I've worked in video production for over a decade. I've seen both the good and the not so good voice talent in action on my own projects. And in addition to honing my skills on various Voice Over projects and in many training sessions, I have the unique perspective that one can only get from being both behind the camera as well as in front of the mic.
This is my promise to you: I will give nothing less than my complete dedication to your project because that's what your project deserves.

My Voice Experience
Over the past decade, I've been involved in literally thousands of commercial projects that have given me a good ear for what works well in a project. My experience both behind the camera and in front of the mic have shown me what separates good "readers" from great voice talent. Having had to coach talent to give me what I needed has helped me to accept and understand direction in my own voice overs
