Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I have several character voices ranging from several different "man on the street" sounds, to the zany and cartoonish when it fits the situation. I have been a grandpa explaining a donut shop to a little girl, Ronald Reagan, Mikhail Gorbachev, Jimmy Carter, Wolfman Jack, Gomer Pyle, Marvin the Martian, R. Lee Ermey, a very effeminate aristocrat from the south, Richard Nixon, Tom Snyder, Julia Child, and a choir of singing elves.

My Voice Experience

I have been doing voice-overs and announcing in one form or another since I started in radio in the mid-70s. I have sold everything from chicken feed to mink coats. I have also done voice-overs for Prevue Guide(a nationally distributed cable tv channel), banks, fairs, and have narrated a few industrial presentations for local utilities.

My Studio Equipment

I am in the process of building a home studio with an M-Audio mic and a dedicated cpu running multi-channel editing software, and a good sized production library converted to mp3, coupled to a 12MBs internet connection. I also have access to a multiple studio production facility in the radio station where I work.
