Voice Description

I'd say my voice is a mid-range to deep type normally. Many people that meet me for the first time say that I sound like I'm on the air, and smile when I do a few lines from the forecast. I can get loud, soft, old timerish, whiney sounding. When I look at a picture I can get an idea for a voice to go with it. I like to look a dog pictures and wonder what their voice would sound like if they could talk and make one up.

I'm from New Jersey, Some people expect being from "Jersey" I can do a mob type sound. Yes I can. I can do a backwoods or southern farmer type..Yeeeup. And various character type sounds.

My Voice Experience

I've done on air/production work since I was a teenager working at various radio stations in the northeast area. I get a Charge out of hearing my voice on stations adds or sweepers. I think radio is a great medium. It's whats done between the songs that makes a great station.

My Training

I've worked in the radio broadcast industry for about 30 years. I started by listening to radio stations and mimicking their sound. I would stop by stations, get to know the people, learn the equipment and the business.
