My Voice Experience

Highland Park Sr High Repretory Theatre;WHPR 88.1 FM-Highland Park Michigan Local radio station.Teaching kindergarteners to read via a Phonics Program. 27 years in the Local Telephone company in various positions, including Customer Sales, Collections and Service, as well as the holding message voice for my current department (the orig Michigan Bell Telephone Company)so you can see talking,characterization, and team work are my business(always has been, and always will be).

My Training

Repretory Theatre under the direction of Ms. Clara Saunders(a personal friend of Mr.Ron Millner-playwright)for 4 yrs. Also radio experience,on the board-announcing and D'J'g, cueing records,and programs for 3yrs under the direction of Mr.Greg Byndrian, who still broadcasts local football games for Highland Park High School WHPR

Additional Skills

I have played such characters as: the 'drunken' Hortense Dagle, from the 'Bad Seed'. I have been the FairyGodmother of Cinderella to numerous kindergarteners. Also I was understudy for Christine in "Wait until Dark". Among various skits and impromtues we put on for our audiences, as I still do now for my children. My co-workers say I should write a book because I am such a character, but I like to act it out. My voice-mail message is so convincing, that people who call me start to speak with me like I am there when I am not. (Ha-ha). Because I have always been an avid talker(wish my mom was alive to testify to this) this would be the "get paid for the job you Love to do and do well (mine is talking and acting, and making people laugh).
