My Voice Experience
The live stage, where first takes are final takes, is where Michelle has cultivated her vocal career. From interactive melodrama (Moorpark Playhouse) to local legit musical theater (Santa Barbara Civic Light Opera, Cabrillo Music Theater, Moorpark College), Michelle has played a variety of leading female roles. These include Tzeitel in "Fiddler on the Roof" (1999), Antonia in "Man of La Mancha" (2000), Dale Kristien's understudy for Anna in "The King & I" (1999), Mabel in "Pirates of Penzance" (2002), and Hanna Glawari in "The Merry Widow" (2007). As a studio artist, Michelle has recorded on several private use non-union projects including two live competition recordings as a solo finalist at ACSI Musicale, and a recently recorded personal demo cd. Current project pending: radio commercial for Preferred Glass & Windows, Inc.
