My Voice Experience
I have been in broadcasting for nine years as a Traffic Reporter/on air personality for several radio stations and CBS 6 news. Over the past several years I have recorded numerous television commercials at CBS 6 for local furniture, and car dealerships. I also have experience as on-camera and voice-ever talent for training videos. I can be heard on CBS 6, Star 101.3, and Pulse 96.7 between 6sm-9am/3pm-6pm Monday through Friday
My Training
I graduated from the New School of Radio and Television in 1997 with a good understanding of the broadcasting field. However, my nine years of experience, not only as a Traffic Reporter but as part of several area morning shows, has given me a necessary level of ease on air, creativity and professionalism needed to offer high quality voice-over work.
Since the age of seven I have been performing for any audience that would lend me an ear, including the trees and the swing set in the back yard. Living-room sing-a-longs were a favorite (I knew every word to every sit-com theme song) and whatever tune was playing on the car radio if it had a melody, a rhythm and a rhyme I was sure to be singn and be-boppinn along. As a teenager I spent a summer in LA California studying acting, music and dance at the Inner City Cultural Center with fellow class-mates Malcolm-Jamal Warner of the Cosby Show, and Larenz Tate from Crash. After high school I trained for a year at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC. Some of my credits include: Charlaine in Aint Misbehavin, Ado Annie in Oklahoma, Electra in Gypsy, and Titania in Midsummer Nights Dream.
