Voice Description

For commercials, I'm often a frenetic, off-beat, girl-on-the-go type voice talent... who's skirted by irony and urban, existential wondering.

My voice-overs also show germs and bacteria who's boss -- in a college-education, majored-in-English, but-isn't-afraid-to-scrub-floors-kind of way.

Nothing makes me want to hug myself more than a big, sexy bowl of melting, chocolate ice cream.

Don't get me started on the folksy wisdom of downing yogurt or soy milk -- my calcium-enriched bones and voice over talent are firmly planted here, thank you.

The Civil War? It's sad all those people died, all those years ago -- let my wistful, sensitively-yearning voice-over tell you so.

My Voice Experience

I have a background strong in improvisation, sketch comedy and existential angst.

Stage work includes performing and writing at The Groundlings, The Comedy Central Stage, The Comedy Store, The HBO-Warner Bros. WorkSpace, and the Ice House.

My Training

I graduated from UCLA, with emphasis on theatre, film and English.

I spoke up a lot in class -- and was heard by both the front row and the back row.

One of my professors said: "I really like your voice acting, but what do you think about 'Paradise Lost'?"

I currently belong to an actors-writers group where we, on a weekly basis, read aloud our humorous short fiction.

It's helpful in keeping our radio voices well-toned.

Additional Skills

I can play a variety of characters, have a flexible voice and can also sing.

I'm also a cartoonist: I really love voicing the different, animated points-of-view in voiceover auditions.

I write comedic scripts and write song lyrics (I wrote my cartoon voice-over demo).

I spent my childhood putting on puppet shows.

I talk in my sleep.
