My "regular voice" has a deep, warm, "manly" tone, which I readily adapt emotively to fit the desired impression to be made upon the audience.
For example, the warmth can be amplified and an unseen smile added to each word when a friendly character or delivery is needed. Or the warmth can be removed, exploiting a depth in which malevolence resonates, where the very words drip with a haunted negativity.
