Voice Description

I am a voice over actor/artist. I provide mostly comedic, cartoonlike voices for commercials, television shows, films and voicemail messages. I can sound very childlike for kids tv commercial work or cartoons. I can use a smooth warm friendly tone for voice mail greetings, on hold messages etc. I do country western accents and a drunk voice to great comedic effect. I use an English accent for some jobs which require more sophistication. I have a very tv/radio friendly voice and provide voice over auditions to those seeking professional voice services.

My Voice Experience

I am a singer living in Hollywood. I am new to voice over work. However, I have a naturally soothing voice coupled with a great sense of humor. I work with a voice coach on a weekly basis. He suggested that I look into voiceover work because my voice would be so well suited to it.

My Training

I work regularly with a voice teacher. Mostly we work on singing, but we also do quite a bit of work with speaking. The voice method I study is called conversational singing. What I have learned is how to manipulate and control my speaking voice and to create and define emotions when either speaking or singing.
