Voice Description

Eclectic is the best way to describe it, I suppose. Primarily, I'm seen (and heard) as an authoritative type, though I love comedy and do it well. My radio career was designed arounding attracting females, 25 - 65. My gift is my ability to read anything as though it were being stated personally; to an individual standing right in front of me. Most of my larger commercial accounts were based on my ability to take a script, never seen ("Dry Read"), and interpret it as though the writer were speaking their thoughts for him/herself.
More than anything that I've heard from my listeners is their wish to hear me narrate the Bible. My congregation loves to hear me read from the Word of God. I'm in the process of working with a variety of churches in my area to narrate their web sites with scripture and encouragement to seek our Lord and to come to their house/church in order to do so. It's wonderfully fulfilling.

Many European, Hispanic, South African, Australian and a few Arabic dialects are available to me. Most anything within the contiguous U.S. comes to me after hearing it said a few times.

My Voice Experience

More than 3,400 radio, television and film related productions. Narrations for IVR, Human Resources (Training & Development), Product Marketing (Web-Based and Internal)and Video Narrations since 1986 for: HP, Intel, Intuit, Maxtor, Westinghouse, United Defense, BMY, Hughes Aircraft and approximately 40 other Fortune 500 companies.

My Training

Broadcast Journalism BA from San Jose State University in 1981; with a Marketing Communications degree (BA) as well in 1979. I completed my MA in Corporate / Community Relations in 1982. One year at the Bailey School of Broadcast in 1983. I've taught voice training and Public Speaking to many people in corporate environments who are required to address large audiences. I'm a very good instructor and compassionate with my students. I want them to be better than I ever will be when it comes to effectively communicating their thoughts, emotions and dreams.

My Studio Equipment

I do almost everything (voice-wise)from my office; I possess a fully equipped sound production studio utilizing KORG and Mackie mixing and editing equipment, Schur and Senheisser production mics and phones. I also have access to a local Public Access Television Station via Comcast and the studio services of one of my radio clients as well.

Additional Skills

I have a wealth of on-camera work experience as well. My calling in serving the Lord, our God is to use the voice He gave me to serve Him and my fellow man; to reach the hearts of my brothers and sisters to call upon the Lord for a better life here on Earth, in preparation for the life eternal in Christ.
