The route that I've taken to get here has been a rather circuitous one. I was in the radio business about ten years ago. I decided to go to Connecticut School of Broadcasting and worked at several local radio stations in my area. I did news, sports, psa's, commercials and dj work at WVOX, WLNA & WFAS in Westchester County, NY. At the time, I needed more stable, full time work. I went back to school to get a degrere in education. In my work as a history teacher over the past 8 years, I've been performing for my students on a daily basis. It is common for me to break out into different characters or accents as we are discussing different historic events or people. This past year, I decided to seek voice acting trainig, in order to see if I had the ability to do voice over work. After working with Ellie Devers & Frank Piazza at APvoices in Manhattan, we recorded a demo, which highlights my various abilities and diverse range as a voice over artist.

I have recently purchased an M-Audio Producer USB microphone, with corresponding software, that plugs right into my HP Pavilion Entertainment laptop. I can record from home but I'm more than willing to record in studio as well.
My teaching experience has been extremely valuable to me. In order to keep the attention of more than 100 teenagers on a daily basis, I've had to find ways to make history interesting and fun for them. One of the ways I've been able to accomplish that is by being able to teach the curriculum as if I was acting out a story for them. This has been where I've been able to work on all of my different characters and accents the most. That, along with my previous broadcasting experience, has afforded me the ability to do a wide range of things with my voice.
