My Voice Experience

Am retired M.D....plastic surgeon; have always been interested in voice-over work because I do have a good voice and have been told for years that I should be "on radio" or in the voiceover business; now have the time and great interest to follow this dream. Much experience in public speaking and oral presentations..e.g. medical meetings,teaching programs, etc. Am especially interested in voiceover work or being voiceover talent for medical or other professional training materials, e.g. educational videos, tapes audio-digest etc.

My Training

My formal training has been with Kirk Johnson, Sr. of Audio-1 in Chicago, 2004-2005. this was intensive mentoring with weekly preparation and script recording and critiquing.

Additional Skills

I am a medical doctor and thus totally familiar with medical terminology, phraseology, slang, abbreviiations (for the most part), and general knowledge. I have also always been interested in theatre and acting and have taken paty in multiple dramatic productions over the years. I have also been a member of a social/ameteur play-reading group for the past 25 years, meeting once per month , witgh each member performing two-three times per year. I have long dreamed of becoming a credible voiceover talent or work productively in a voiceover job or jobs.
