Voice Description

My voice is an excellent narrator's voice, radio or video DJ, documentaries or V.O.s for films, answering services, or for any of the applications where a rich, lower register male voice is required including commercials and instructional videos. My voice can be stern, sexy, playful, humorous, sophisticated, informative, sad, any emotions are available to me, and in addition to speaking North American English, I have studied Tibetan for 18 years with Tibetan teachers from Lhasa, and Punjabi from Northern India. I have spoken Spanish for three decades, in the dialect of Northern and Central Mexico. I have bits and pieces of other languages.

My Voice Experience

I began using my voice at an early age, to get parental attention usually. I went on stage when I was 12, then began playing in bands when I was 15 and learned to sing professionally. I hosted a radio show on KUNM FM radio in Albuquerque, NM and then carried out radio interviews for Mystic Records of Hollywood, CA when I was in charge of promotions. I have continued to sing professionally in concerts and on CDs over the decades and am currently also hosting a three hour internet radio show of my own creation. I have acted and have been interviewed on radio and television. I spend most of my current time storyboarding and taking charge of pre-productio art design for film projects based in California and I compose songs for film as well. I also illustrate books and graphic novels. I am told again and again that I should do more voice overs because of the quality of my voice.

My Training

I have learned over the last several decades through experiental application, performing on stage, on television and on radio and CDs. I have recorded broadcasts and have been broadcast live as well. I have performed with well known recording artists and bands, have participated in Plays and other productions, video shoots, etc... and have amassed an education throughout these experiences.

I work full time in the film industry, as I said, mainly in charge of all pre-production art design, overhead diagrams, shot lists and storyboards, working with directors and film companies primarilly in California. I also illustrate graphic novels and books, and I compose and record music for films and CDs. I have always used my creative skills to earn a living. I know nothing else. I am a visual, audio and vocal artist who expresses a wide variety of emotion in all I do. I am familiar with the pre-production and production aspects of media projects, and I work well with others.
