Voice Description
Warm for narration; can handle big words well. Way fun for commercials. Authentic and believable. Midwest comes through if so desired. Can be blaring and sarcastic when called for. Got a Problem with that? Geared for character representations.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
Many variations for cartoon/character; Brooklynese, pretentious British, straight British, cockney, french southern> hick to rancher to distinguished southern gent. No crap taking American city boy, black or white. Wide range of African American. Mafioso. overdone German. Can play real smart to real dumb; just being myself. Gay, not that there's anything wrong with that.
My Voice Experience
Recently did a short cartoon where I played 2 characters. An understanding empathic dog from deep Brooklyn as well as a self involved British dog. Directed & cast voice as well. It was a difficult process as we started at 6pm & when we were about done @ 10 the computer capturing the files for edit broke down & ate those files at the small, um, inexpensive studio. Had to rig a dusty DAT to finish and had to recoded it it in one running take. Luckily the mother of the 9 year old girl cast was a friend and staying till midnight only affected our relationship for a short time. Was real lucky to find an excellent post house the next morning & met the short deadline
My Training
I'm actually near completing my doctorate in psychology, but have little intention to start a practice. Am developing edu in-school programs as well as media properties, mainly for kids but moving toward the adult market.
Took the full course of acting classes in college and did stage work in the vast Detroit market. Produced and acted in a plethora of student films in art school. Bet you probably can't find a voice with more extensive experience, right? I do it well and take direction attentively though.
Played music professionally and did some awesome undermiked harmonies.
Was in advertising biz for years producing different creative projects for years, too many, before returning to grad school. Very familiar with most forms of production and editing.
My Studio Equipment
I have easy access and good friends petitioning me for work at 2 well used modern and complete studios. I have worked first hand directing technicians to get what I want, or client needs. Again most familiar with editing and recording equipment and work with ace tech's to get the best out of the work I am involved in. Quite proud of these directing skills.
Additional Skills
I am a highly creative person who can produce on the spot and to deadline. pretty darned funny & fun to work with. That's how I got here today
I write well and work well on writing teams. I play a mean blues and rock guitar. Spent 15 years producing all kinds of creative for ads in the Detroit market. Had a small boutique agency in the end.
Training in psychology can help create a productive working team atmosphere. Most producers tell me they wished they had a shrink on the set, right?
