My Voice Experience
To date, due to my short time in voice over, outside of Voice123, I have had only 2 auditions. These were back on February 14, 2007 and March 12, 2008, at both at Endeavor Studios in New York City, one for a radio spot for Cherriwine(website) and the other for the Connecticut Lottery.
My Training
I took a Learning Annex class on Januray 9, 2007 with Marla Kirban, and then took numerous lessons with her from March to June. In addition, I have attended seminars and practice sessions, or Pro-Jams, at Marla Kirban Voiceovers.
Included is an animation seminar with Jeannie Elias on March 4, 2007 and a personal animation voiceover lesson with her on 12/22/2007; a nrarration seminar with Paul Costanzo on April 14, 2007; and an acting-for-VO seminar with Bruce Kronenberg on May 7, 2007. I will be attending another with Bruce on July 30.
I took a 5-week on-camera class (Wednesdays 2/27 - 3/26/2008) with CD Barry Shapiro at Actors Connection (NYC) to help with my overall VO skills.
I completed a 4-week course (Tuesdays 5/20 - 6/10/2008) with Richard Kline at Actors Connection (NYC) called "Comedy for TV and Film" to help with my overall VO skills.
I attended a 1-day animation seminar with Hynden Walch at Marla Kirban Voiceovers on August 16, 2008.
My Studio Equipment
At this time, I am using a USB mike (Samson Q1U) with a laptop & desktop to record my auditions. The software I'm using is EXPStudio Audio Editor 4.3.
