My Voice Experience
My experience in the field started at Anime Expo 05. I was starting to realize I wanted to pursue a carrier in voice acting so I attended a panel put on by Bang Zoom!. I also found that they were doing a competition so I entered it. They gave me a list of roles that have already been dubbed by previous voice talents to redo. I picked the villain from Heat Guy J, Claire Leonelli. When I got up to take my turn trying it out in front of about 500 people I was able to sync the words with his lips almost flawlessly as well as deliver a voice that made the original voice actor, Johnny Bosch, say that I would put him out of a job one day. At the end of the competition I was awarded first place for a male voice actor. After that I did a wala session with Bang Zoom! as well as doing back ground vocals for a Eureka 7 game. Which I got to work with Tony Oliver who was the voice director for the game.
My Training
Well I mostly learned doing voices from playing role playing games like Dungeons And Dragons. I also took drama in high school.
