My Voice Experience
My voice is widely recognized in North America through nationally syndicated radio where I was the narrator for Ken Blanchard's One Minute Manager, David Foster's In Session, Dr. David Suzuki's Discovery, Celebrity Sports Report, Canadian Top 40, and the Royal Bank's Your Money specials. I have also been the signature voice for Seven Eleven, Nissan, Colgate Palmolive, CP Air, South West Airlines, Labbatts Brewery, the Vancouver Aquarium and the multi media, BC Stories, 2010 Olympic campaign shown in Canada House in Turin Italy. My voice is used for teaching English in the Korean public school system and it was my voice that successfully persuaded Canadians to vote in two national elections. I have appeared in over 3,000 radio and television commercials as an actor, voice over specialist and host and have been continuously on the air since the age of 14. I am a well respected motivational speaker, inspirational orator and a powerful writer. I also owned and operated Studio 1200 - A multi media recording facility and Rio Productions - A film production company.
My Training
I graduated from the National Institute of Broadcasting and majored in communications at Simon Fraser University. As a student of voice I have had significant mentoring from studio producers, advertising creative directors, broadcasters and an extraordinary list of clients that have shaped the sound of my voice and crafted it's versatility.
