Voice Description
I have 14 years experience in radio and can perform a variety of intonations such as warm & deep for narrations; sexy and fun for commercials, and smooth and professional for presentations. I've always been told I have a great voice and could impersonate a lot of people- especially co-workers and I think that's where a lot of VO superstars got their inspiration.
I can do hillbilly to movie trailer voices. I love it and I'll work hard to get it right.

My Voice Experience
From about 1988 to 2003, I was the main voice talent for Temporay Placement Services in Dalton,Ga. I would narrate job training and safety videos which were used to train new employees in mostly manufacturing jobs. I have video samples but they are currently on VHS and are second or third generation recordings.
I started my radio career in 1982 and did many recordings of PSA's, commercials, and promo's which, at times required different accents and impersonations.
I've been told I do a "dead-on" Hank Hill (Mike Judge). I also think I'm pretty good at a "Pee-Wee Herman" and Carl Childers.
In 1984, I was employed by a local cable access TV station where I performed multiple voice overs for commercials, live events, and documentary type videos.
I just enjoy performing voice overs and feel I have talent for it.
My Training
I attended the "Professional Academy of Broadcasting" in Knoxville,TN in 1975. There I was taught voice, speaking, inflection, and pronunciation. Most of my other training has been hands-on.
My Studio Equipment
I recently purchased a Boss BR-900CD 8 track recorder which will allow me to produce my own product with music and effects and I use an Audio Technica AT4040 microphone. I can still travel to a studio in the Nashville area if need be.
Additional Skills
I have a love for animals. I do my pets' voices as if they are speaking & my wife says she thinks that's what they'd sound like if they could talk.
I like to watch good animated TV shows like "King of the Hill", "The Simpsons", "Family Guy", "American Dad",etc. Sometimes I'll try to get some of the character voices down from those shows and end up with one of my own.
