Voice Description

I'm a natural high-baritone/tenor, capable of any United States accent from Cajun or California to Backwoods or Brooklyn. Anything from Cartoon/Animation Voices to "Voices of Doom". My primary delivery is pretty neutral (a "TV Accent"). Excellent soft-sell, family/female-oriented reads, but I get lots of "high-energy" work, too. Good Spanish, French, Italian and German accents as well. Production in Spanish, too! Characters that clients seem to like in voiceovers: Bullwinkle, Bill Clinton, Robin Leach, the Croc Hunter and Dr. Evil. Composer, singer, arranger and orchestration services available, too!

My Voice Experience

I have 25 years of broadcast background, and I am currently the Production Director for an eight station cluster for Beasley Broadcast Group in Augusta, GA. I do lots of copywriting & political satire (right OR left), songwriting and music arranging, too. I've been winning awards consistently from 1989 until 2007 within the Northeast Louisiana Advertising Federation, including a "Best Use of Satire" Special award in 1999. My Radio experience has been primarily in AC, Hot AC and Classic Rock. A complete resume' is available upon request. I have done TV weather, TV and Radio voice overs, audiobooks, liners, "on hold" and other phone messages, documentary and film work, theatre production, jingles and (estimate) MILLIONS of Radio Spots!

My Training

I was a Music Theory and Composition Major at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Realizing that was a fairly useless degree ("y'all need any symphonies wrote??"), I transferred to Louisiana State University at Shreveport, concentrating on French and Spanish. No radio school; my experience has been entirely in the field. I have also done quite a bit of television and two films, plus LOTS of community theatre and orchestration.

I love copywriting, animation work and conceptual creation! I also do jingle work, from the lyrics to the composition and scoring, using the KORG Triton LE Extreme Workstation.
