My Voice Experience

My experience started before I was out of high school as on-air radio talent. I did news, top-40 style rock, jazz, and the usual staff announcing/ID/commercial-promo chores. My good education and command of the written and spoken word serves me well in taking direction and working with all kinds of copy. I was also very active in school theater. I've done a range of characterizations from comedy to drama, and have a rich palate of accents and dialects.

My voice is an extremely versatile instrument with a broad range from mellow bass to strident tenor, which I can modulate to fit virtually any mood. I'm consistently comprehensible, even when doing "quirky" pieces that push the envelope. I ALWAYS have fun at work.

My Training

Radio, TV, theatre/drama.
I have decades of experience behind the scenes as an editor/mixer/sound designer, and this technical knowledge of the process gives me a thorough understanding of how my contribution will work in the production. Directors and producers love working with me. I was born to do this work, and it shows.
