My Voice Experience

I have never performed a professional voiceover, however I have always been told that I have a perfect voice for them. As a high school history teacher I have learned how to use voice infliction to tell stories and emphasize points. Teaching has helped me to mature as a public speaker and the more I teach the better I become at delivering content. I believe that my last six years as a teacher has prepared me well to start a voice over career. I am confident, have a mature voice, and read well. I am extremely excited about starting a voiceover career.

My Training

During my high school career I excelled in my media classes. I learned how to make videos, produce news footage, and do voiceovers. However, when I went to college I decided to become a teacher. I have a BA in History and a MA in Education. Teaching has helped me to become a strong public speaker, which I believe has indirectly prepared me for a career in voiceovers.

Additional Skills

I am a high school history teacher and coach. These two professions have helped to strengthen my public speaking abilities, voice modulation skills, and use of infliction.
