I've never done any voice over work, per se, such as audio for commercials or promos, but I have been involved in broadcasting since 2003. I have been a sports anchor on a college television station's newscast, and I have also done some play-by-play commentary for both basketball teams, the softball team, and baseball team at Blackman High School in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. I also worked as a substitute color commentator for the school's ice hockey team. I also took news classes where we produced news packages, where we had to record audio, and set it to our video.
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Media Communication-Journalism from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro.
I worked as an intern at the Fox affiliate in Nashville, WZTV, in the Spring of 2008. They have an audio booth complete with a mixer as well as a tape deck to record audio on so it can be captured and used in producing packages for newscasts. I also have a friend who works at the major FM talk radio station in town, SuperTalk 99.7, and they, too, have an audio booth with mixer and tape deck, plus a computer with software that can edit soundbites.
I have good writing skills. If you want me to do a voice over project, and need some help editing the copy, I can help you with that, too.
