My Voice Experience

I have been using my voice for over twenty years. Most of the work has been industrial doing narrations for companies on video or the web. I was the voice for an on-site conference recording company for eighteen years and have worked with various Chicago based production companies. I have been The Narrator in an independent film and have done (2) books on CD.
I am currently doing guided tours for Real Estate company TV and websites for a marketing company who handles clients nationwide.

My Training

Working with ad agency producers when I was just starting to do voice work. They liked the sound of my voice and worked on my being more conversational with a relaxed delivery. They taught me to sell it without going over the top. Most importantly, to view the whole project and understand who you are trying to reach.

Additional Skills

I began in Radio in the mid 70's as an on-air talent and did most of the commercial production. I later became an engineer at a commercial/industrial recording studio in Grand Rapids Michigan and was taught how to lose the radio voice and become more natural. I've been doing voice work the last twenty years and on-site recording.

I do my voice recording and editing in my studio which makes for a quick turn around.
