My Voice Experience

Being someone who works with students, it is necessary to capture their attention. I have had to do a number of presentations, both serious as well as light-hearted, and I have found it necessary to modify my speaking to fit the presentation. You get one shot with students to have them hear what you say and actually listen to what you are telling them. My voice provides a degree of sincerity and honesty that allows me to get my message across and be truly heard.

My Training

I have a BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) with a major in Marketing, as well as a Masters Degree in Educational Administration. Both of these degrees have focused on the ability to speak to an audience and not only get but hold their attention. I have no problem speaking in front of a group and find the experience rewarding. I have also been a big fan of movies (especially Disney/Pixar) and can do many of the characters that are portrayed in these movies.

My Studio Equipment

I am currently working with my home computer and an MXL USB.006 Cardioid Condenser microphone to record my voices. However, I live near the Dallas area and can travel to a studio to do professional-quality tracks if needed.

Additional Skills

I really do love being able to do voices and voice-work, as I believe that I have a very natural speaking voice that is soothing and easy to listen to as well. I've had a number of people over the years tell me that this is something I should really look into, and so now I am taking this leap of faith to put myself out there and see what I can make of this. Give me a chance, and you won't be disappointed with what you get.
