Voice Description

I have a very mature voice for my age and have learnt how to express meaning through it. I have an RP accent but have learnt how to do all regional accents, as well as most english speaking international accents. I am able to take direction and have been described as being able to modulate my voice to some quite distinct frequencies, and to deliver a variety of different characters on my own. But i can also do most classical radio advert type approaches to voice.

My Voice Experience

I have appeared in a number of different radio plays both for my student radio station and, have done alot of work at all fm based in manchester for their blood drive and double glazing advertising campaigns. I have a sister with her own show on brightons juice fm who regulary asks me to do links for various competitions she does about being king or queen of brighton for a day.

My Training

I have completed a HND in media and performance coming out with a distinction overall and a distinction in both voice and in radio practice. I have also taken time with some of the proffesionals who have taught me during my course and have put me forward for work at the bbc and granada in such productions as "too little too late" where i played the internal monologue of a deaf person.

Additional Skills

I have an extensive range of experience in hosting live events, as well as this i also do alot of stand up comedy, which involves having a polite speaking manner to audience members as well as a confident approach to performance. I have also recently been presenting infornt of the camera for a Channel M production as part of my degree course about students views on current affairs.
