Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

Accents include British, Australian, Middle Eastern, Impersonations include animated characters from Simpsons, Family guy, old school saturday morning cartoons, as well as television and movie personalities including newscasters.

My Voice Experience

My voice over experience started with local commercials in television and radio in the late 1980's. I recorded vocal work as well in group settings for jingles singing as bass. Most recent work was done as background vocals while recording bands in my recording studio. I also narrated 'documentary' style pieces for band demo CD's and DVD's.

My Training

Most of my training has been in the music field as a vocalist beginning in Gospel music in the 80's to rock and roll, developing a 3 octave range at one point including falsetto. Traning was done professionally in studio.

My Studio Equipment

I have built, equipped, and sold 3 recording studios in the greater San Diego area. All of my studios were run on Pro-tools with a Digi-2000 console. I have always hired engineers to record my projects, but spent many hours learning editing. I have mid-level experience with live music production and mixing.

Additional Skills

Although it has not been my main source of income for the past 20+ years, I have always been involved in the music industry as a vocalist and recording industry performing voice overs for various projects. During my time building studios and recording local artists I learned quite a bit about the business end of the industry as well. Over the years I have had several offers to become involved in radio work as a career, but chose not to change careers at the time. Although I am not a professional voice over personality, I definitely have the skills to make a career out of it at this point.
