My Voice Experience

I've worked internationally addressing and presenting to large crowds on stage and in conference rooms to audiences where English was not well spoken. I was able to effectively present complex technical and business materials through my tone of voice and inflections as well as my ablity to speak slowly, authoritatively, and clearly. Many of these presentations were recorded and reused on company websites. I've also acted at the amateur level and have appeared in productions of Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice and Chekhov's The Three Sisters. Many people in television and radio broadcasting have told me I have a "natural" voice for broadcasting and I should pursue a career with my speaking voice.

My Training

While acting, I studied voice training and the Alexandrian technique to project. I also have years of experience fine tuning my voice to effectively communicate complex technical materials to people who may not have a good command of the English language.

Additional Skills

I have an innate and highly developed ability to establish rapport and trust through the tone of my voice alone. I'm able to communicate through inflection, timbre, and tonality which is highly effective in getting messages across since most people retain very few of the words spoken to them but will be able to tell you how they felt about the speaker, the speaker's character or the subject the speaker was talking about.
