Voice Description
What is a vocal cameleon? It is a voice talent that truly understands the involvement of emotions in every single read. The listener must "believe" that the reader has knowledge and passion of the subject, whether it's a funeral home or a monster truck show.
To be quite bold, there is very little I can't do. Warm, cool, excited, frantic. That's what being a cameleon is all about.
In addition to clean reads, I am adept at a number of character reads, thanks to alot of TV and little parental supervision as a child. (Sorry Mom and Dad) IE Marvin the Martian, Barney Gumble, etc. Famous characters include your standard Kennedy, Jimmy Stewart, Edith Bunker, etc. (Better to ask who I can't do.) I've sang in cover bands for 14 years, and have told my Jim Morrison borders on clairvoyance.

My Voice Experience
The Accidental Voice Talent:
About a hundred years ago, I was a junior sales rep at a local radio station. Goofing around one day in the basement studios, the realization was made that I actually had voice talent. Thus began a year of free voiceover work while I struggled to sell drivetime traffic reports.
The market I hail from is small. (Winnipeg,
Manitoba, Canada) Most local work is for utilities such as water and power. However, voices were something that always came naturally, and I used many of them in local stand-up comedy routines. As a singer in cover bands, I prided myself on my "mimic" abilities.
While I have probably grossed $2000 in an on again/off again career, I am confident that my abilities are of the caliber required for a multitude of voice needs. As a freelance writer, I regularly travel across North America, and can easily attend to jobs as they present themselves.
