I have had to speak for a multitude of occasions. I have had to persuade, control, pacify, inform and most importantly entertain; each task requiring a different tone or mode. I have had to read a variety of material from non-fiction and fiction to plays and poetry, sometimes off the cuff and other times with the luxury of preparation. I was often asked to speak at professional development programs because I have a voice that people liked listening to.
While I have had some training with the people at voice coaches and I plan on continuing to learn from professionals in the field, I feel that the best training comes from experience. My experience comes from being an English teacher for eleven years and a teaching Supervisor for 5 of those years.
I have easy access to quality recording equipment and can produce completed products.
