Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

Mainly Upper Midwest. Think Johnny Carson, Henry Fonda and John Wayne, Harry Reasoner and Tom Brokaw. They all originated within 150 miles of my home. Ronald Reagan developed his radio voice within 100 miles of here.

I can do an Irish accent, since I was raised near a group of Irish immigrants who kept the dialect alive in the community.

My Voice Experience

I have made a radio commercial for my present employer. The local radio station was amazed that we concluded the recording with a ready-for-air sample on the first try.
They ran the ad for several months on the local radio station.

My Training

I have been active in theater in High School, College, and in Community Theater. Much of the work I have done in the past has been musical theater, but I am open to try new things.
I have taken communication, marketing and composition classes. I will be finishing my degree in Technology Management this spring.(2009)

My Studio Equipment

I do not have a studio at this time, but will research what equipment is available in my area.

I understand technical language, as I have done technical work in the workplace for many years. This may be helpful in work involving techniques, tool usage, or audio manuals for equipment or machinery.
