Voice Description

Not unlike many in this industry, I've spent probably my whole life from early childhood playing with voices, mimicking what I heard on TV, radio and in everyday life. I can be that buddy next door, comfortable older brother, young father, or even that know-it-all high school brat. If called to, I can also be bright and even confoundingly daring characters.

My Voice Experience

While actual paid job experience have been limited, I've pulled from my every experience and have cross-applied it to this field.

I started out with about three years of experience at a mostly analog college radio station speaking on-air and producing spots. Later, I worked nearly a full year part-time on-air at a small market commercial station in the Midwest. Though my exerience has been limited, it has taught me huge lessons and shown me incredible opportunity.

My most previous experience was in Fullerton, California, doing on-stage radio drama-style performances of D. Adams' Radio Scripts of "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy".

My Training

Other than on-the-job learning, my most recent formal training includes VO workshops with Casting Director Cheryllynn Carter at Actors Creative Workshop in Burbank, CA. Then previously with Voice Actor Colleen O'Shaughnessey at Sound Moves Studios also in Burbank, CA.
