I have wanted to be a voice actor since my very early childhood. I began in theatre when I was about six or seven years old, performing minor roles in children's plays at my local theatre. Although our theatre went out of business, I continued to act at my middle school, and picked up the flute to play in our school's classical band. During this time, at church I participated in various plays and cantatas before joining an A Cappella group in college. Here is where I received performance and musical training, which continued for my entire college career. I have been recorded on various CD's with the use of one of the member's recording equipment/sound both. Afterwards, I picked up home studio equipment and was motivated to continue my original love of Voice acting at the advent of the show "My Little Pony" when it resurfaced in 2010. I have since recorded for various independent companies and projects on youtube, mostly for My Little Pony productions, but also independent animations and script reads (Jan 2012-Present) . I have also worked on my own materials doing readings of famous stories on my youtube channel. I am currently cast as a voice sound-alike for various characters from the show.

I started out in children's choir at church, while dabbling in child theatre and putting on small community plays such as Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and Beauty and the Beast. I took piano lessons when I was very small but later took up flute in middle school, training under a our director for three years. I eventually In college, I participated in an A Cappella group for four years, getting most of my more professional voice training from it as well as recording experience when we recorded songs for our CD's. Most other training has been from the practice of my own home-recording studio.
My Studio Equipment
I have easy access to a recording studio but I do most of my recording through my home studio. It includes an at2020 USB microphone, a gooseneck pop-filter, and most of my editing/recording work is done through FL Studio 9 (though I have access to Audacity as well).
I'm a dedicated and motivated individual who has is known for bringing emotion and life to their character's voice. I currently work at Disney World as an educator, and have a great passion for all things animated or not. I believe imagination and inspiration coupled with the right voice is the key behind bringing such wonderful characters into reality. Being a novice animator myself through Flash programs, I have seen first hand how wonderful it is to have characters portrayed and portrayed well by the right voice. I also understand, being a part of many jobs that require team work, that it's not something an individual can do on their own. Any project is a team effort, and I have proven time and time again that I am a flexible, team player, who remains punctual and dedicated to ensure my responsibilities are completed.
