My Voice Experience

After being in the Fashion Industry for 7 years I have just recently started my new Voice Over Career. My first job on September 11, 2009 was doing a "911 Operator" voice over for a local radio station here in New York City before my demos were even finished being produced! I am ready, willing, and able to start building experience in this exciting world of Media!!!

My Training

Bachelor of Science Degree in Apparel Design and Manufacturing with a Business Minor from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.

Coached and currently freelance Managed by Xavier "X-Man" Paul here in New York City where he produced all of my demo's and is working with me to grow in this industry. Also freelance Managed by Squawk Voice Talent Management.

Working for different fashion designers and companies I have had to communicate with many different people (here and all over the world) over the time I've lived in New York city and it gives me a broad understanding of how a business works/doesn't work.

My Studio Equipment

Easy access to studio facilities equipped with broadcast quality (including ISDN) capable of delivering audio files in any format. AIFF, MP3, WAV or FTP upload.
At home I use the Blue Microphones Snowball USB (with Ringer Shock Mount & pop filter) by Blue Mics and garage band for some auditions.

Additional Skills

Love Fashion, Dancing, Gymnastics, and sailing (2007 North American Sailing Champion for the J109 Class-One Design as well as an East Coast Champion in 2007). Also, have a passion for fashion since I was 15 working retail jobs and then making it in New York City after getting my degree and interning with Diane Von Furstenberg (since then worked for her as well as Betsey Johnson, At Last Sportswear, and Jacques Moret).
Extremely good with Children,(nanny voices, children voices, young teen voices).
I am bound and determined to dive into this Voice over industry with a motivation and excitement that everybody will get addicted to! :)
