Voice Description

A warm, clear voice that is incredibly versatile. Wide vocal range (3-octave singing range) allows for great vocal variety. Character possibilities range from young teen to middle age, with a variety of regional and international accents. Fun and youthful; clear,engaging and professional; alluring and breathy; weathered and jaded -- all of these options an more from one voiceover talent.

Fluent in both English (native language, North American) and German (second language, broadcast/entertainment standard; can also do southern, Austrian, and Swiss regional accents in German with slightly longer notice for rehearsal time). Although German is not my native language, I have lived in Germany and worked as an actress there and I speak with no trace of an American accent. I also speak French and Spanish quite well, but not well enough to sound like a native.

Some accents include General American, American Southern (general or specific to location, financial, and educational background), American Mid-West (general or location-specific), English(RP or informal accents), Australian, German, Scottish, Irish, Austrian, Polish, Russian, French, Korean, Chinese (can specify to region of origin), and others.

My Voice Experience

* Professional actor working in theatre, film, and television. Many on-camera roles have included a voiceover component, and many roles have been voiceover only. Theatre roles played in recent years include characters from teens to octogenarians, both male and female. Camera work includes motion pictures, local television, commercials, and industrial films. I've also done character voices for animated and puppet characters.

* Voice coach/consultant -- experienced dialect coach helping other actors achieve specific regional or international accents. Talent and experience in the area of identifying the core sounds of an accent and adapting to them. Also work extensively as an accent modification coach helping individuals (non-actors) of diverse backgrounds learn to speak with a general American accent.

* Currently working as an independent corporate trainer and personal coach, as well as teaching acting at the university level and working as a professional actor.
