My Voice Experience

I recently graduated from college in May 2005. I am very interested in pursuing a career in voice over work. I have been told all of my life that I have a wonderful voice and excellent phone manners. I took an acting course in college where I learned different voice excersises and different ways to use my voice. I also took a course called voice and diction which was helpful with voice articulation and diction. I am originally from Seattle,WA, so I use General American Dialect, however I can also produce Souther Dialect. I would love the opportunity to display my voice with the world.

My Training

My degree was obtained in 2005 at Clark Atlanta University in Mass Media Arts with a concentration in Public Relations. I took many courses throughout college that helped me improve my voice such as Voice and Diction, Speech for Radio, Television, and Film, Business Professional Speech, and Fundamentals of Speech. I was also an on-air reporter for 3 years on a show called "College Talk" in Atlanta, GA and I have an extensive acting background. I also sang in the choir for 10 years.

I have a lot of telephone experience,I had 4 internships in college at TBS Superstation, Soulstice Media Group (Public Relations), NASCAR, and Enterprise Rent-A-Car. I answered phones and made calls for all of the internships except for NASCAR.
